Today

Outside my window...
As usual by the time I get to put anything on here it is late at night so, outside my window is dark with only the street light shining through.

I am thinking...
I would like to retire and be able to read my bible during the day instead of going to work,  and I would like to enamel more often at my little craft studio

I am thankful...
for the sunshine we are having despite being at work during the day.  Although today I was in my studio with a group of women teaching a beginners workshop in enamelling and it was a fun day

In the kitchen...
chicken and asparagus although not very exciting

I am wearing...
  jeans and a navy blouse

I am creating...
enamelled pieces for my studio shop

I am going...
to babysit my adorable grandchildren early in the morning

I am wondering...
how I can de-clutter my home more, it is long overdue.  I don't like throwing things away just in case they come in for something ....... (they never do!)

I am reading...
  Just finished reading Romans

I am hoping...
it will not be too busy at school next week (I am a school secretary) as this week was manic to say the least

I am looking forward to...
   tomorrow, I like Sundays

I am learning...
to take things easy, especially as I was ill for 5 weeks during the school holidays and am only just beginning to fee lbetter.

Around the house...
Quiet.

I am pondering...
the situation with human trafficking.  So many young girls(and boys) being abused mentally and physically and taken from their families to live in the most apalling conditions.  Let's pray they are set free.

One of my favorite things...
   being around family and friends.

A few plans for the rest of the week:
Babysitting tomorrow, prayer meeting Monday, Bible study Tuesday, rest and relax rest of week (if only)

A peek into my day… enamel workshop with some lovely ladies

Wednesday, 25 July 2012

Outside my window: darkness - but the street light is shining through the window.

From the learning rooms: Reading about Deborah and Barak let me see that we all face our own battles and that the Lord is right there with us, oftentimes going ahead of us into the battle.

I am thankful for: all that the Lord teaches me and has taught me in my walk with Him.

From the kitchen: never much doing in the kitchen, I never seem to have time to cook.

I am creating: enamelled jewellery at my little craft unit.

Around the house: ironing basket is getting full.

A few plans for the rest of the week: grandchildren coming over tomorrow, hair appointment Friday, Saturday looking after grandchildren for a few hours, church Sunday.
