Outside my window

Outside my window today ...
Rain, a very heavy downpour

I am thinking...
how quickly things have changed. One minute everything as normal next total lockdown and now we are slowly coming out of it although Covid 19 is still around, so much change but just look at the local park ... beautiful

I am thankful...
I can chat to family on zoom, watch church services on YouTube and have church zoom homegroup and prayer meetings and ladies get togethers

In the kitchen...
Having an oven yo cook in after it broke just before lockdown

I am wearing...
Cropped Jean's and sleeveless top. It's very warm and we may have thunder later

I am creating...
Pencil boxes for kids at church to remind them in lockdown they are still loved and crocheting a blanket for my granddaughter. Hopefully she'll not be married before I fj ish it .. I'm rather slow

I am going...
To do a bible study on Monday with my dear friend Irene

I am wondering...
Why my cat is so strange, he drools

I am reading...
About Deborah and Barak in my bible Judges 4 and 5

I am hoping...
Covid19 the Corona virus will go

I am looking forward to...
Spending more time with family and being able to be in church with my brothers and sisters in the Lord

I am learning...
More about my ancestors as I trace my family tree

Around the house...
Still trying to declutter but it's an ongoing task

I am pondering...
What I should craft next

One of my favorite things...
Being able to see  my grandchildren

A few plans for the rest of the week ...
Bible study with Irene on Monday and zooming with my brothers, sisters and nieces,
Zoom prayer meeting mid week.
Exercise, a daily walk round the park

Outside my window... this was posted from several years ago .. I'd saved it as a draft so thought why not post it

The absence of light

I am thinking...
Where have the years gone, time passes so quickly
I am thankful...
My family, my church family, my friends and all those who have come into my life and made memories

In the kitchen...
Tidiness

I am wearing...
Jeans, sloppy top and body warmer as it's cold

I am creating...
Cards

I am going...
To give out Easter Eggs tomorrow in the community with others from church

I am wondering...
What I can have for supper

I am reading...
1 Peter in my bible and also Loving the way Jesus loves by Phil Ryken

I am hoping...
the weather will be kind when I'm on holiday for a few days

I am looking forward to...
Saying hello to so many youngsters tomorrow as we give out eggs

I am learning...
That God's word is paramount to Christian living

Around the house...
De cluttering

I am pondering...
what hymns to choose for the service I will be leading in a couple of we

One of my favorite things...
always having my grandchildren around me

A few plans for the rest of the week ...
Prayer meeting Monday, Finance meeting Tuesday and Bible study if the meeting finishes early enough - it doesn't usually but I can pray. New house group starts Wednesday, babysitting Thursday, Kid's Club and Source Youth Club Friday, Shrewsbury at Enamel Guild Saturday, Church and my little studio Sunday - quite a busy week so no wonder I never get to de-clutter.

A peek into my day… three gorgeous grandchildren creating
